FREMONT, Calif., June 20, 2025 – Trinasolar, a global leader in smart solar and energy solutions, joined leading industry voices at the 2025 PV ModuleTech USA Conference, where module buyers, renewable energy professionals, investors, and other key stakeholders gathered to examine the evolution of U.S. solar module supply.
John Dallapiazza, Director of US Utility Sales at Trinasolar, presented in the panel group, “Looking to 2026 – Which Module Suppliers Will Dominate the U.S. Supply?” Drawing on more than a decade of experience in utility-scale solar PV sales and business development, Dallapiazza shared Trina’s perspective on the future of module procurement as domestic supply chains expand.
“As the U.S. solar market keeps growing, what’s really going to set module suppliers apart is a strong presence in the U.S., a diverse manufacturing footprint and supply chain, and product innovation that stays ahead of the market’s changing needs,” said Dallapiazza. “At Trina, we bring visibility into both global production and U.S. demand trends, which puts us in a great position to help customers navigate supply dynamics with confidence—even as the landscape continues to evolve.”
At the conference, Dallapiazza highlighted Trinasolar’s U.S. supply chain roadmap, including the company’s commitment to increasing domestic content and its Texas-based module manufacturing. He also provided a preview of Trina’s industry-leading technological advancements, including the introduction of its 2000-volt module. This innovation sparked strong interest from attendees, opening a dialogue about the benefits of higher-voltage modules for utility-scale projects—including system design optimization, lower balance-of-system (BOS) costs, and improved project economics.
Trinasolar continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of solar in the United States by investing in technology innovation, strengthening domestic manufacturing, and supporting partners across the energy value chain.
