Trinasolar successfully delivered its smart solar solution to 52MW project in Northern Europe
2025.07.30

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has successfully delivered its Vertex modules and Vanguard smart tracking systems to a 52 MW solar PV plant project in Northern Europe, commissioned by Acme Solar Group, part of the Acme Grupė. This milestone marks a significant step in Trinasolar’s continued expansion in Northern Europe and further deepens the strategic partnership between the two companies.

The project integrates Trinasolar’s full solar solution, featuring high-efficiency Vertex modules and the Vanguard 1P tracker, equipped with the SuperTrack smart algorithm that optimizes tracker positioning in real time based on weather and terrain conditions.

"Working with Trinasolar on this project has been seamless. Their engineering expertise and integrated approach helped us overcome site-specific challenges and deliver a high-performance plant on time. We value this partnership and look forward to continuing our collaboration on future clean energy projects in the region." said Sergej Artemiuk, CEO of ACME Solar Group.

Opening of Ramonaičiai solar plant project marks a key moment in Trinasolar’s expansion in Northern Europe.  With this flagship project, the company has established a strong foundation for long-term growth in the Baltics.

“This project is a major milestone for us in the Baltics and a testament to the strength of our partnership with ACME Grupė. Together, we’ve combined innovation, technical expertise, and a shared vision for a sustainable future.” said Gonzalo de la Viña, President of Trinasolar Europe.

The project showcases strong technical expertise and close collaboration with all parties. To address the challenge of high soil saturation, a customized foundation was developed to ensure structural stability from the ground up. In parallel, the harsh Nordic climate required specific adaptations: an AC-powered supply was provided in line with project needs and client requirements. This setup was reinforced with environmental monitoring systems, including wind alarms and snow sensors, to ensure long-term safety and performance.

Throughout the installation, Trinasolar’s site managers and field teams were on the ground, offering hands-on support and ensuring smooth project execution despite the demanding conditions. ACC Distribution, Trinasolar’s official distributor in the Baltics, also played a key role by managing all logistics and ensuring on-time delivery and coordination throughout the project.

This partnership lays the groundwork for continued growth in the Baltics, reinforcing both companies’ roles in advancing the region’s energy transition. At the core of Trinasolar’s strategy is a commitment to delivering comprehensive, smart energy solutions that empower customers to lead the transition to a net-zero future. With high-performance products and scenario-based solutions, Trinasolar continues to drive sustainable energy progress worldwide.
