Photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption
Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France
CommercialIn the scenic Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, a new solar power plant is paving the way for sustainable energy self-consumption. Installed by Climoconfort, this project features 373 Trinasolar Vertex S+ modules, a setup designed to meet the facility’s energy needs with a total estimated annual production of 197,600 kWh.
The power plant’s contribution extends beyond energy savings; it plays an active role in reducing CO₂ emissions, supporting the region’s goal to transition to a lower carbon footprint. By producing its own energy, the facility minimises reliance on fossil fuels and prevents a notable amount of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere every year.
Trinasolar’s Vertex S+ modules, powered by advanced n type i-TOPCon cells, offer the reliability and efficiency needed for consistent, long-term energy production. This cutting-edge technology ensures dependable energy generation for decades, backed by a 30 year power warranty. The dual-glass structure of the modules further enhances their robust performance in various weather conditions, supporting the plant’s sustainability goals while maximising output.
This project demonstrates the real-world benefits of solar power for self-consumption, highlighting how localised renewable energy solutions can drive positive environmental change. Trinasolar is proud to support this initiative, reinforcing the importance of solar technology in accelerating the energy transition.
