Located in Somerset, UK, Kingsmoor Packaging Ltd—a leading manufacturer of plastic food containers made from at least 50% post-consumer waste—has reinforced its commitment to sustainability with a new solar PV installation. Partnering with Trinasolar and Mypower, Kingsmoor took a significant step towards reducing its environmental impact, complementing its ongoing waste reduction and recycling initiatives.

For this project, 1,528 Trinasolar Vertex modules were installed, delivering an impressive total capacity of around 615,000 kWh per year. This renewable energy generation is estimated to offset approximately 127 tonnes of CO₂ annually, a valuable contribution to the company’s sustainability goals.

Kingsmoor Packaging’s new PV system not only supports its eco-conscious operations but also helps to reduce dependency on conventional energy sources. The high efficiency and durability of Trinasolar’s modules provide long-term reliability, ensuring consistent performance for years to come.
