CHANGZHOU, China, Sept. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a global leader in photovoltaic ("PV") modules, solutions, and services, today announced it was selected to supply 11.7 MW of modules to customers' ground-mounted solar PV plants in the emerging solar markets of Turkey and Ecuador. The agreements demonstrate the company's ongoing progress in executing its geographical diversification strategy. The solar plant located in the Antalya region of Turkey is expected to have a total capacity of 5.8 MW and will utilize 23,650 Trina Solar TSM-PC14 300W 72 cell modules. The facilities in Ecuador are expected to have a total capacity of 5.9 MW and will utilize 9,193 of Trina Solar's premium TSM-PC05A 250W 60-cell Honey modules. Trina Solar recently completed module shipment to the projects.
