Trina Solar Japan completed transaction of two extra high voltage projects

Trina Solar Japan Energy Co., Ltd (“TSJE”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Trina Solar Co., Ltd with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan announced the successful transaction of a 13.99 MW project in Tottori Prefecture, Japan (in May, 2019) and a 14.2 MW project in Miyagi Prefecture (in July 2019) to Takara Leben Co., Ltd, the leading condominium developer who also extensively undertakes electric power provider business in Japan. (Both projects will commence operation in April 2021 and September 2020 respectively.)

Upon the completion of the transactions, TSJE continues to provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) service and will provide advanced and innovative O&M services during 20-year’s operation period.

After many years of exploring and cultivating in the downstream market, Trina Solar has also become one of the leading downstream project developer and class asset provider across the globe. Up to now, Trina Solar has connected over 3 GW of solar power plants to the grid worldwide. As of the end of October 2019, TSJE has connected 45 solar projects with the aggregate total capacity of approximately 100 MW in Japan, and currently has around 200 MW projects under construction also in Japan.
