"To ensure the financially independent 40-year operation of the Weesow-Willmersdorf installation, we required both quality and quantity from our PV module provider. Trina Solar’s reinforced dual-glass modules and their reliability in supplying large-scale PV projects gave us 465’000 reasons to say “YES”."  Thorsten Jörß, Managing Director of the Weesow- Willmersdorf Solar Park

Weesow-Willmersdorf solar park covers a sprawling 164 hectares of pastoral land located to the northeast of Berlin. The 187 MW installation promises to supply the equivalent of 50,000 local households with reliable clean energy. Comprising approximately 465’000 modules, the site is set to offset 129’000 tonnes of CO2 annually during its expected lifespan into the year 2060.
